Urgent Requirement for Aix admin @ Delhi

Job Description

• Implement and support UNIX/Windows server types within the Enterprise and I&A Platforms environment.
• Manage the IT infrastructure of the customer.
• Analysis of the environment and perform root cause analysis for identified problems etc.
• Ability to communicate complex technical contents.
• Should have worked in a Remote Support Environment

• Have good experience in virtualization 
• Troubleshooting and Performance monitoring of Power and X86 Servers
• Should be open for 24*7 support/environment



Main Tasks
• User/Group Account Management - Create, Modify, Delete, Disable, Password Reset
• File system management on various volume managers
• Disk mirroring & management using volume manager

• Troubleshooting performance issues on unix servers.
• Network management and IPMP/IP bonding configuration.
• Installing and configuring Print servers and print queues on unix servers.
• NFS server and client configuration.
• Patch and package management on Unix servers.
• Data backup and restoration using OS backup tools.
• Assist and communicate with hardware and software vendors when required.
• Prepare/fill daily checklist and Shift handover checklist, and transition of pending tasks to next take over engineer
• Create and maintain all (ITSM) process management documentation as required.
• Proactively review incident trends and report recurring issues to Problem Management
• Escalation of problems in a timely manner as per the escalation matrix


Desired Candidate Profile
• Minimum of 2 years experience of UNIX systems administration working with Aix 6/7

• Have excellent communication skills
